Kallithea Springs has unique architecture and offers amazing views. The complex is also famous for its pebble stone mosaics leading to the Rotunda Hall and its impressive terrace. Inside the rotunda of Kalithea there is a modern art gallery, while the court yard is such an idyllic place that is often used for wedding receptions, conferences and events. Kallithea Springs also hosts plenty of cultural and artistic events, festivals, concerts and exhibitions, at its premises every year.

Kalithea Beach

Kalithea is also among the top choices for locals and tourists because it offers an extraordinary variety of entertainment choices. The tiny inlets and coves with their sculptured rocks and caves that Kalithea features, offer a perfect opportunity to explore or lie back, relax and enjoy yourself. The beaches in Kalithea are well organised with sunbeds and parasols for hire, changing rooms, water sports and scuba diving schools. There you can also find cafes, canteens and fish restaurants. Kalithea offers crystal clear waters and it is as one of the cleanest beaches on the island. The seabed in Kalithea is teaming with marine life and the water in the bay is crystal clear and turquoise blue making it ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving. Here you can discover fascinating rock formations and colourful marine life.

Sightseeing & Activities in Kalithea

The excursion to Kalithea starts at 9:00 am with the pick up from Sunday Hotel. The bus arrives at 9:30 am and your free time to explore Kalithea starts. You will have 6 hours in Kalithea and in your free time we recommend the following activities:

  • Visit Kalithea Springs
  • Walk the mosaic paved archways and the gardens
  • Explore the art exhibition in the Rotunda Hall
  • Marvel at the amazing view from the terrace
  • Relax at the beach
  • Enjoy a drink and the beach bars
  • Eat fresh fish at the waterfront restaurants
  • Take Scuba diving lessons
  • Snap amazing photos

For this excursion we recommend that you bring along the following items: Swimming suit, Beach towel, Hat, Sun glasses, Sun cream, Camera.

Prices & Availability

The excursion to Kalithea costs €16 per adult and €11 per child up to 12 years old. It is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Entrance to the Kalithea Springs costs €3 per person and it is not included in the price. Sunbeds and umbrellas in the complex are free. The monumental complex operates from 08:00 am until late every day. The beach bar and restaurant opens at 09:00.

Private Transfer is also available!

Private transfer with a mini van is also available for groups of 5 or more people. The cost is €25 per person. If you choose the private transfer then the schedule can be modified according to your preference.
